"B" Litter - Dee x Rascal Date whelped: February
11, 2004 There was a lot of speculation about when Dee would have her puppies because our vet had told us to expect them between February 11 and 14. We were going to start a pool, but it's a good thing we didn't because I would have bet on February 12. A nice thing, however, is that Dee is really good at giving us about 14-15 hours warning before she has her puppies. This time she woke me up at about 11:30pm on the 10th and had her first puppy at 2:33pm on the 11th. And what a start she had - the first three puppies were girls! By the time she was done (after 10pm that night) we had four girls and two boys - all blacks! (Hmmm, maybe some of them carry that elusive chocolate gene...)
