GMHR, Int'l/Am/Mex CH Cook's Midnight Bandit MH Bandit was the first Lab to be titled as NAHRA Grand Master Hunter, show champion and Master Hunter. Less than 50 Labs in history have earned both an AKC show championship and master hunter title. Only two Labs have earned all three titles. To put that in perspective, there have been roughly 1.5 million Labs registered with AKC since Bandit was born. He won Best of Breed 13 times, including 4 times from the classes! He also has a Group win and placements. He finished his GMHR in 15 out of 16 events and his AKC Master hunter title 5 out of 6 events. He also has 2 legs on his CD title. Talk about an all-around Lab! Several Bandit puppies have finished their show championships, many have hunt test titles, some have been trained as SAR (search and rescue) dogs, and some are running field trials. He comes from a mixture of old show bloodlines crossed with Swedish Dual Champion lines. His parents and 3 of 4 grandparents have all earned working titles. Bandit is owned by Jim and Mary Ann Cook of Montrose, PA. There is an article about his breeder, Jan Grannemann, in Today's Breeder Magazine. One section of the article (scroll down to Sharing The Passion) discusses Bandit in particular.
