"J" Litter - Arwen x Chuck
Total puppies: 8 - 2 black females, 6 black males. Well, sometimes I can't count very well - especially during a Leap Year. Wasn't expecting puppies for nearly another week, so took Arwen in for her final vet check on Friday morning. Vet said everything looked fine and that Arwen had another four or five days to go. But you can't fool Mother Nature. Arwen kept trying to tell me we didn't have that long - luckily I finally heard her as she started having her puppies that same evening. Could it have been the bumpy ride or maybe the full moon that started her in labor? Who knows. I'm just glad she had more gorgeous puppies.
