Rocky has been described as "a field trial dawg that throws good,
classic-looking Labs" and that his contribution to the breed was
"multi-dimensional." He sired an FC-AFC, an FC, another dog with
an Open win, many dogs on the National Derby List, many more Qualified
All-Age dogs, numerous AKC Master, Senior and Junior Hunters, plus UKC
Hunting Retrievers and Hunting Retriever Champions.
He also has
offspring that have titled in obedience, agility and tracking, including the

His pedigree includes some of the greats of the breed, including NAFC-FC
