SHOWDOWN & COAT COLOR

In March 2004 I purchased a chocolate Labrador, sight unseen. When she arrived, she was actually a straw color and her coat looked dry and brittle. 

With better care, good nutrition and time she is now a rich, dark chocolate color. It took nearly three months to recover, but it probably took years to get so bad. Below is a photo of her coat which shows the nice dark chocolate with the few remaining patches of straw-colored fur. Although her care is now better overall, I credit the Dynamite Showdown with the dramatic change in her coat. And that's despite the fact that she spends lots of time outside every day in our intense Colorado sunshine!
